All of the these tutorials were created by me, using Paint Shop Pro and outside filters. All ideas are copyrighted to me as these are my own original designs. Any similarity to another tutorial is coincidental. Please do not post them on another site, rewrite or claim them as yours.

 

What you need and image that has water on it; you can use mine just right click and save to your computer:

 

You will also need the Squirlz Water Reflection you can get it click here for the download

install the program it is not a filter it is a stand alone program so you don't have to have PSP to use this

 

open either your own image or mine in this program (Squirlz)

 

Now on the left side you will see a red circle as the screen shot belows shows:

now this is how you make a outline, click on the part where you want the water to reflect, make a complete circle as shown below

as you are making the outline remember you can NOT do the whole image, you are making a reflection so it needs something to reflex from

now once you get back to the starting point; left click and this will complete your outline

click on the yellow arrow at the top,

you will be able to see your animation now

 

This is for basic ripples only once you get the feel of the program play around with the setting

To save click on the GIF tab at the top;

name it whatever you like

the next box that comes up it the frame rate, 15 is the default

click ok and then it will automatically save it

if all works then you will end up with this:
