I'm just gonna be flat out real here. I have seen way too many requests for tags yet I hardly ever see anything being posted or used for this community. I don't mind making tags but I would love to make some for others too and it makes me even feel better if I see tags I've taken the time to make for others being used also. As you all know I have a full time job and a life (sometimes) so when I'm up till 2am making tags, I would really love to see them being displayed too. I don't make the prettiest ones, but I SPENT MANY LATE NITES making them. I have several threads made to where you can show off all the tags that were made for you by anyone from any groups as long as they're copyright-free, yet all I see is the same loyal people posting their siggies.
I don't want to make a big deal out of this, but we have other Zookeepers that probably would like to request tags for themselves yet they try to wait for the surge of requests to calm down. I'm speaking out of love here for everyone, but PLEASE respect and be considerate to others. I don't want to play favorites but the ones that I see post all the time, I would love to shower them with tags for being here all the time...but I don't. Clearly, we have a shortage of sigtag makers, so please give us a break every now and then. I know Barbara don't mind, but it's always a joy to see our creations being displayed. I don't know if ya'll realize, but most of the posts from the "Showing Off" thread is by me---I'm so happy and proud to always display everyone's presents for me. It feels good to be thought of! I'm not demanding that we (creators and sigtaggers) get recognition from any of you, but it certainly boosts our morale when we see someone bragging about the tags we made for them.
Lastly, I personally would like to see other Zookeepers names on the request board. We would love to be generous to everyone that had taken the time to come in here daily to say hey to us, and not just a few. I'm posting this to the main board since this venting board seems to be invisible to everyone.
