?nbsp;24 Hour Deadline - More and more I find myself hating this rule, but these days ya almost have to have it to maintain peace in a fed. So basically what this rule means is that your first RP for a match MUST be posted at least 24 hours before final deadline.
Some weeks the 24 hour rule will not be in effect. This is generally on weeks where results take past Wednesday morning to get up in full. Keep an eye on the Shockwace card page, I always announce on there whether or not this rule is in effect.
I'll be honest right now, I'm not going to be a Nazi about this rule. If someone has a damn good reason why they're a lil late, I'm gonna let their RPs stand. If ya don't like it then ya know where the unjoin button is.
?nbsp;RPs after Deadline - The deadline is set for a reason. Once it has passed then management begins the process of determining winners. So if you're not gonna be able to meet deadline, then you need to contact management with the reasoning. Perhaps we can work out a special deadline with your opponent(s) for the match.
As stated in the "Fed Regulations" section, repeated failures to promo for matches will most certainly results in release/dememberment. You'll be welcome to reapply when you can devote more time to meeting deadline. Also, if you no-show your debut match then there's a damned good chance you'll be released/demembered.
?STRONG>RP Limits - PWT doesn't have a limit for how many RPs you can post per show. However we again understand that things can come up in real-life. When they do you can approach management and/or your opponent about setting up an RP limit for your match.
?nbsp;Tag Match RP'n - This is another rule that I personally hate, but the majority of the fed seems to prefer it being in place. And basically what this rule states is that ALL members of a team must RP for a scheduled tag match. Unfortunately failure to meet this requirement in a tag match will result in an automatic loss for the team that doesn't get all members to RP.
Recently there was a question on whether or not all members of the team had to meet 24 hour deadline. That wasn't previously addressed but it being done now. So the answer is YES, all members must meet 24 hour deadline from now on.
The only exception to this rule is if all teams involved have the same amount of people show for the match. Should all teams have the same amount of peeps show, then the match will still be judged.
?No Nudity - You are not allowed to post RPs with banners or pictures conatining nudity. If you do then the RP will be deleted and reposted minus the offending material. And lemme specifiy that its not because we're some kind of prude. Its just that MSN has really started enforcing their policy about no adult images. They've been known to delete groups even after the offending material is deleted, so lets just advoid posting any.
?Attacks in RPs - Another rule I'm not overly fond of, but its in place to keep the peace. Basically this rule says that you can not attack another person's character without their permission. And it'll be pretty easy to determine if ya did or didn't have permission. The person attacked will likely come to management if their permission was not secured beforehand.
Now I can tell ya that there are members of the roster who aren't gonna throw a hissy if they're attacked. They'll just roll with it. So if you're interested in doing an attack in ya RP you're better off finding those peeps. Also you're encouraged to use the PWT jobber characters that we've created for uses like this.
?nbsp;Plagerism - We're very much against this. It WILL NOT be tolerated at all. If we come into evidence that you have plagerized, then you will be released/demembered.
?nbsp;Flashy- Screen-Stretchin Layouts - We're not really fans of those type of layouts. There's no reason for layouts that can cause seizures.
?nbsp;Strats - One of the biggest complaints e-fed managers will hear is: "Why was That Dude used in results more than me? How come he got so much tv time?". And the answer to that is quite simply because that person turned in strats to get him/herself out there more. Now if you're wondering what a strat is I'm gonna tell ya.
A strat is a segment that you turn into management to include in results. These segments are like the backstage or in-ring segments you'd see in WWE or TNA. It can be anything from your character leaving their locker room on the way to the ring or getting in a brawl with someone. Ya can even write your character coming out and cutting a promo on an opponent before the match. That won't help you win, but it adds a level of realism to results. Not to mention strats are where that pesky rule about needing permission for attacks is out the window. Go ahead and attack someone ta get a storyline started in a strat.
Its preferred that you turn in all strats for the show no later than an hour after deadline. However most times results will take a day or two ta be posted. So you may still have the oppurtunity to get strats turned in, but not always. Waiting could cost ya the spot you want your strat to occur
?nbsp;Pictures in results - In PWT we do allow pictures in results. Often times these can be great at really getting across the mood and emotion to a strat. So we'll have an album where you can post pics that you want included in results. You just gotta make sure you link management to the picture and tell us where you need it. Also you still have to adhere to the "No Nudity" rule.
?Be Patient For Results - Look everyone would love ta have same-night results as the deadline, but it just usually ain't happening. Our deadlines are 10 PM Central time Sunday nights to allow people the most amount of time to RP. Then we have to get matches judged and winners sent out to writers.
