I dont know the names of neighbours one side..

they are a young married couple with 2 toddler sons..

the other side are 2 brothersliving together.

I guess cos we are new here we havent got to know ur neighbours but in Cotswolds..

I had Phyllis aged 93 live alon next door..and we used to look out for her..check on her etc..

the other side was Ricky and he was always in japan..so we checked his place for him..he was getting married to a japanese girl..around this month..

I wish I had neighbours like I had one side of my care home..

val who lived next door with allan was my age but she died this April of cancer..and sh never got to know I had come back "home".

The other side ..well..some of you met them!!(They were nasty devils!!)

There are only 3 semis and a detached in our cul-de-sac and 4 of us have been there for over 22 years. The other 3 houses were brought up by a developer thinking he could get his hands on us all so he could sell on .... some chance ... lolll ...

Consequently the other semi on ours is rented and we have had some dreadful tenants in here, but also some lovely ones. I will really miss Kim and David when they leave next year for Australia.

Some people are meant to meet, Kim and I are such people. Like minded in our spiritual nature. Still, like she says, I will have some lovely holidays in Oz once they are settled.

One day I will tell you about some of the other tenants that have been our neighbours!!!!!

When you are ready for it ... lolll.....

After all we live next to them for so long in our lives.

I love most of my neighbours. For the queens golden jubilee I arranged a street party and everyone had their families there too..there were about 200 people of all ages!! Following that, at the beginning of that december we had a coach and 22 couples from our road all went out for a dinner/dance...and as so many of us were out in one go the police partolled our street looking after the houses for us

One side of me I have a 93 year old lady, and the other side live a couple similar ages to us. They are like family to us, we are always there for each other and have seen each other through so much. We have often been away together too, as recent as 3 weekends ago we were in our caravan and they borrowed our tent..we had a brilliant time and a good laugh.

The only damper on the street is next door but one to us..selfish so and sos. they beleive that their kids can scream at all hours as much as they like (10 and 12 year old girls!!) they were screaming on their trampoline at midnight a few weeks back

and their parents attitude is..if the girls are happy then we are happy. They have no respect for anyone else , oh and they have a sports car that revvs up on driveway at 3am occasionally. Guess what our revenge was hehe...avon did some tree surgery one morning next door to them when HE was on nights

Shame there always has to be one to spoil it all tho isnt it!
