I get a Rooming List from the hotel periodically and can see the rooms and rates for everyone. Whenever I see different rates for parts of a reservation, I usually check with the people and get the reservations changed to the way you wanted them.

 

So I made the request to the hotel back in July to get yours changed to one rate for all nights. The current Rooming List shows that your reservation is for $139 every night.

I went back to the hotel to modify our arrival from Monday the 6th to Wednesdat the 9th (Bob & I are flying into Orlando on Sunday & will be playing at Disney in the Carribean Beach from the 6th thru the 9th).

 

The Crowne Plaza still lists our room rate at $289 for the Monday 14th & Tuesday 15th.  The reservationist had no way to verify a rate change.  If the Crowne Plaza won't change the rate then Bob & I will be switching hotels on Sunday since we will be going to Universal Studios later that evening on the 13th thru the 15th  (I have found the Hampton Inn Orlando S of Universal Studios 7110 S Kirkman Rd.  that will charge us $129).

I just check our attendee event letter from July 31st....It says "You can take advantage of the special rate for nights from April 6th through April16th." so it is most likely whomever handled the request wasn't aware of our H8K contract. If need be when you call back ask for a supervisor though I am sure Leanna will straighten this out as she so often does!
