Ahoy All

I was just wondering who won the Crossword Puzzle.  I haven't seen that posted any where.  Also, does the pirates newspaper have a name picked yet?

We are now in countdown mode until the convention.

Did we have a winner announced in the puzzle game?  I don't recall seeing one.  Less than 5 full weeks to go before the convention.  Remember to set your clocks ahead 1 hour this weekend.

Hi Joy,
I don't know the winner, so Roberta will have to answer that.
However I know that the clock should go back one hour beforeyou go to sleep on Saturday night.

I went to a wedding in England a few years ago in late October. The bridal couple gave a gift of "one hour" to all their guests by selecting that day to wed. The bride's sister had married the previous year on the weekend of the spring time change where everyone had to set their clocks forward. They lost a much needed hour's sleep in order to check out of the hotel on time. The bride/groom-to-be vowed that spring to give her guests an extra hour to recoup from the night of revelry. And we certainly needed it as the party went well into the early hours of Sunday.

HI All

I always get confused as to which way the clocks go.   So we lose an hour this weekend.  I really wish they would quit doing this since it messes everyone's internal clock up twice a year.

When you go to bed this Saturday night, set your clock one hour AHEAD, so 2AM becomes 3AM.  Remember:  Spring AHEAD, Fall BACK.

Mike -

I'm doing OK.  Looking forward to the long drive south next month.  I'm planning on stopping to see Bill Quarles in Myrtle Beach; my cousin in Hilton Head; and some friends in Jensen Beach, FL.  Then I hit Orlando.  I just made my reservations for EPCOT.  I've been to Disney World twice, but never to EPCOT.

Ray...

We are driving down at the end of the month to see Bill for a few days... had been wanting to get down there to help him out with a few things and the time has just gotten away from us :-(

Glad to hear you (and Knoll?) will be stopping in on your way down :-) :-)

See you in Orlando!
