We finally got home last night at 8 - just in time to mail our business taxes.  Talk about piracy!  My Mom, Millie, and I had a great time at the convention.  It was good to finally be able to put faces with names!  Mom really enjoyed herself - particularly after the Unversal Studios bit on stage.  Believe it or not, that was way out of character for her, but it sure was an icebreaker since so many of you talked to her about it.  Thanks for making her welcome.  And a very big Thanks to Gayle for video-taping it.  That's the only way her other kids will believe she did it.  Mom's winnings in the dollar raffle and raffle of a lifetime converted her to a real HK collector.  She's already planning for Rhode Island.

 

I also want to thank everyone who worked so hard to put the convention together and then kept working to make sure it ran smoothly.  HOP Central was a great idea. 

 

And if you ever get back to the Orlando area, be sure to visit Homosassa Springs State Park.  We went there for my birthday and it was a great way to see Florida wildlife - including up close with manatees, bald eagles and Whooping Cranes!
