Hi All

I hate to be nag about this BUT WHEN WILL THE COOK BOOKS BE MAILED?  At least give us an idea.  I am hoping we won't have to wait 18 months for these books like we did for Cousin Sam.  I know that everyone is busy but the responsibility was taken on to make the cook books and to mail them.  I am getting no response from anyone as to a time frame when they would be posted.  I have 3 books coming and postage has been paid.

Hi Leanna

WHEN WILL THE COOKBOOKS BE MAILED?  Simple question with a simple answer that needs to be provided.  I know you did a fabulous job at the convention but these books need to mailed out.  I need by the 2nd week in May and I don't think I'm being unreasonable asking for them to mailed.  I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting on the cookbooks to be mailed to them.  So at least let us know if you are ever mailing them out or are we going to be waiting for them for months like we did for Cousin Sam?  I'm very disappointed not having my cookbooks and having to still wait for them with no idea if they will ever be mailed out.

Over the last three days, I have finally been able to stay up more than 2 or 3 hours at a time as I have fought a battle with a cold and bronchitis for 12 days.

During these three days, I have managed to ship 52 packages. The eight boxes of cookbooks have gone out.

Leanna... honestly... the cook books could have waited woman!  You need to take better care of yourself.  Next time just send up a smoke signal or something and we will get the word out :-)

Seriously -- get back to bed!  I have had one of those two week nasty bouts with the germs and microby thingies... it ain't no picnic for sure.

Take care and get some rest - that's an order :-)

Thanks for the kind words, Mike. I had to get the boxes out from Janice's house before I could return home. I really wanted to get home since I have been in Florida for 7 weeks. I was there for 3 full weeks before the event week getting things ready.

So yesterday I got in my car and drove the 8-9 hours to get to Atlanta. While I am very tired now, at least I am home and can continue unpacking my house. I was only in the house for 3 weeks before going to Florida. Hopefully now I can find the pots and silverware to unpack so that I can use my kitchen. You can only do so much with plates, glasses and Tupperware.

Any volunteers to help unpack would be gladly appreciated! LOL!! But it is now to rest for a day or so before getting back to the newest task. Ain't retirement fun? I think it will be sometime soon!

Leanna... I forgot to post yesterday -- but our coobook arrived... thanks!!!  I can;t wait to start using it... just need to find some time to do some serious cooking... have been very hectic here the past two weeks... and I have another eye surgury next Wednesday which will put me out of commission for a couple of days... so I am trying to get ahead at work a bit so I dont feel too guilty laying on my back and "not" staring at the ceiling for a while.

I laugh now... but just watch me get all anxious and frantic the closer and closer that next Wednesday gets... I just HATE these procedures... just imagine a doctor coming at your eyeball with a freaking HUGE needle... all I can think of is that movie "Halloween" where Michael Myers whacked a hospital employee by spearing his eyeball with a needle to the brain... oh geez... anyways - they gave me a prescription for valium to help calm me down... I would not go within 5 miles of the place otherwise

I digressed - but THANKS for getting the cookbooks off to us!  Hope you are feeling better soon.

Mike
