From Peter's 2007 Signing Tour...
comes the solid-bodied prototype of the standard version of Bed and Breakfast. Handwritten on the base is simply "Dormouse Prototype". Being a prototype, there is no box. These sweet little critters are so cute as they scuffle over the hazel nut (without a bite taken out)!
This is the third donated piece being auctioned to help raise funds for a fellow HK collector who has incurred some major medical expenses and who needs to move closer to better medical care. How many more there will be only time will tell. You can help by generously bidding on the pieces. While the proceeds are not deductible as far as the IRS concerned, you will know that you are helping a fellow HK friend.
