There are seven days to go before the Early Bird promotion ends. If you have reserved, then you must have received a confirmation from our registrar as every registration received by email or smail mail to date has been confirmed. We found that two people thought they registered, but it did not come through to us. So if you have not received the confirmation, please contact [email protected] immediately to ensure that you are registered. Don't miss the July 1st deadline to register or this whimsical Rocky Road will not be in your collection. |

Hi All Sounds like we have a sell-out crowd coming. Is there a limit on how many people for the Pirates Dinner? I will bring an extra suitcase this year to take home my goodies. I shipped some stuff home last time from the Tempe convention. Now i'm just waiting for the forms to do my ordering. I want to add Pegleg Pete with my Pistol Pete I already have. Joy |

Joy, I don't know exactly how many total people that the Pirate Dinner Adventure will hold. I do know that there will be room for 150 people to take part in the adventure itself. The show uses people from the audience to round out its players. What an experience to be had there! Jane |

We do not have a limit to the number of people that we can have at the Pirate Dinner Adventure. Our only limitation will have the parrot pendants, but we will have enough for everyone who registers at least months before the event. We are not taking reservations for the Pirate Dinner Adventure in the current mailing that wil be coming to some people's homes today. We are waiting until the details for all Optional Outings are confirmed before we start registration for them. Leanna |

Hi Leanna I was wondering if we reached the max on registrations yet. Last count was 29 more spaces left. Are the conventions normally sold out? I was just curious. Joy |

Leanna is finishing up today with getting
everything packed and the movers are getting all ready to go. She’s
going to be in transit for a few days. She’ll be here with me in <st1:State
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Virginia</st1:place></st1:State> this
weekend. So, I’m answering for her. Right now our count is at
197. So we have approximately 27 spaces available. There could be
more, Leanna is working with the hotel. To the best of my knowledge, we
haven’t exceeded the space limitation before.<o:p></o:p>
Looks like lots of folks are rolling the
Pirates of the Kingdom event into an extended vacation. How terrific is
that!<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
I’m busy working on the Event Order
confirmations (yes, we got yours). Hope to have some of these out
tonight.<o:p></o:p>

The new count for attendees for our event is 202 at the Pirates of the Kingdom convention. In the countdown on the space remaining, there is now for 22 more and we still have over 7 1/2 months to go. We basically filled our capacity in the dining room at the 2004 Let Freedom Ring event in Philadelphia which was HOP's first managed convention. However that only happended in the final two weeks before the event with last minute registrations. We did not reach capacity in either Seattle or Phoenix. I have no doubt that we will reach capacity at this event in Orlando. It will be sad if there are people who want to attend that have to be turned away due to space. The capacity that I'm using now was based on a general guideline from the hotel. If we continue adding people this quickly, I will work with the hotel to look closely at the ballroom layout to see if an additional table(s) can be added. The current count is based on 10 people per table. These tables have a capacity of 12 seats per table, but we know that our audience do not want to be crowded. |

Jane, We reached capacity in the Ballroom. We helped some people who were unable to attend and others who still wanted to register by getting them together. There is a "no refund" policy for people who register due to the commitments that HOP has to make 6 months before the event. But people can transfer their registration to someone else who gets to keep the early bird privileges. we have been able to find transfers for almost everyone who requested it. So it will be a full house! See you all soon, Leanna |
