Hi kats, last night like every night me and Mad Max cuddled on the couch with our favorite blanket.  He likes his belly rubbed and that is when I felt the lump, my heart stopped and I couldn't think my mind went blank and I started to cry.  He hates when I cry he will get right up in my face like he is saying stop that.  Maybe it is nothing I certainly hope so.  I usually don't let him sleep with me cause he is a wiggle worm and walks all over me but last night I held him close to me and said a prayer and tried to sleep but it was very hard to do.  Witty...

Witty, oh no!   Many prayers that it's just a fatty tumor. Hugs to you both, and update us ASAP.  This is quite upsetting!

Ahh Witty one, I will certainly send the Mad one cuddles.  I hope it is like most furries and is a fluid or fatty cyst.  My old doggie Pete was all lumpy bumpy from the age of about 10 on.  If it is not hard and moves around, it is likely a fatty cyst.  As our furries get older, they get many things like that.  Skin tags are also common but not dangerous.

Keep us posted and check it to see if it is very movable and kinda squishy or almost rotten grape-like.

Oh Witty,
Butch, Rosey, Toby, Big Tom, and I are praying for Mad Max and sending Him and You lots of cuddles and hugs!
We love you both!
We pray that the lump is nothing serious.

Please get Mad Max to the Vet as soon as you can.

Love,
Loyalkat Sophie

Witty, my crew and I are keeping Mad Max in our thoughts and prayers, too. Like Jane's doggie, our hound Shadow has fatty tumors that the vet says are not a problem unless they get too big, then they would want to remove them, but they don't hurt her at all. Hugs and cuddles to you both.

Witty, my cat Rusty had a fatty cyst/tumor removed from his shoulder. I guess they're more common than I thought. I pray that's all it is with Mad Max. Whatever it is, it's good you found it. Kiss the little guy for me!
