Some of you know that last year Washington State suffered severe flooding, especially in the county where I live. Well this Christmas we had record snowfall and it has warmed up and we are getting heavy rain and flooding is occurring as I type this. Thank God we do not live in the areas where it floods, we are up high, but people in the towns around us are flooding. Mudslides and water have closed roads.People are being evacuated from their homes in many counties in our state. Please keep them in your prayers. Thanks Loyalkat Sophie |

Just to update the flooding. It has stopped raining so hard, which is good news. The bad news is all the flooding and mudslides that are still occurring. A 20 mile stretch of our freeway is closed. They say it may get up to 10 feet of water over it, so it may be days before it can be reopened. Many homes are flooded and some destroyed by mudslides! It is very bad! Please continue to pray. Thanks Loyalkat Sophie |

I have been through a flood this past Summer so I know how the flood victims there are feeling. I am keeping them all in my thoughts and prayers. If I could give them all (including mudslides victims) a piece of advice it will be this, fill out the application form for FEMA asap. The sooner you get started with FEMA, the sooner you can get help (if you are approved.) |

Eruth, I am so glad you all are up high and not in any danger of flooding. The flooding in your area was on the news here and they showed footage, it was terrible. Everyone in the affected areas is in our thoughts and prayers. |

Eruth, I'm so glad you're okay! I was watching the news last night wondering if you were near any of the flooding. It's terrible! Many prayers to the people in harms way who have lost their homes. |
