Please keep my Cat, Big Tom in your thoughts and prayers! From what we can tell he has hurt his leg and shoulder. We don't know how bad, but it hurts if we push on his leg and shoulder! He hasn't eaten his food today. I'm not sure if I will have to take him to the Vet. I'll see how he does. Loyalkat Sophie |

Big Tom seems to feel a little better today, but he still hasn't eaten anything yet. Tom is an outside cat, but I put him in our green house so I can keep an eye on him. Thanks for the prayers. Keep them coming! Loyalkat Sophie |

Hopefully, Big Tom just sprained his arm and shoulder by jumping (or falling) off something and landing badly. Sometimes that happens. But i would tempt him with some special treat (tuna, baby food) to get him to eat. Make sure he is drinking water. |

He still hasn't eaten or drank any water today! I tried to tempt him with some tuna but he would not eat it. I may have to take him to the Vet tomorrow and see what is the matter with him! Loyalkat Sophie |

If he still hasn't eaten today, it is time to bring him inside and force feed him. Cats, especially big cats, are subject to hepatic lipidosis (which can be fatal) if they do not eat for a day or two. Do you know if there are any fractures? He should be brought inside and kept from moving as much as possible. A bathroom can make a good kitty "hospital". |

eruth, how is Big Tom doing today? I think you should take him to the vet if he's still not eating. Poor baby! He's adorable. I hope he's okay! |

Big Tom is doing better today. He ate some of his food and drank some water! I'm thinking maybe when his leg and shoulder got hurt that maybe it was a shock to his body and he didn't feel too well afterwards. His leg and shoulder seem to be much better. He might have just had bruises. I don't know what happened. He may have got bumped by a car or he may have gotten hit by something else or he fell. I think in a few more days he will be back to normal again! Thanks for the prayers! Loyalkat Sophie |
