ddddss...Tonight's questions will honor a vet that we have all seen but may not know anything about.  He is a coal black Morgan-Quarter horse crossbreed.  The only sounds of his arrival are the clopping of his hooves on the pavement and the weeping of the bereaved.  The sight of him, doing his duty for his country, has put a tear in the eyes of our nation.  This jeopardy game we honor him....

HINT: He was named after a famous general whose last name begins with a "P".

100-What is the name of the riderless horse seen in military funerals?

200-Boots and stirrups reversed, the horse in today's  game is a symbol of what?

300-The horse in today's game has participated in how many Armed Forces full honors funerals?

400-He has participated in four State funerals.  Name the people.

500-What unit and branch of service did he serve in?

600-What was his date of death and where is his burial place?

Golden Scorpion:He is only 1 of the two horses in US history to be buried with full honors.  Name the other horse.

Fact:  He has the honor of being the last government issued horse in the Army.

Good luck and happy digging....

Hello kats, well I didn't expect to win since I didn't phrase my answers correctly but winning on a very special day was great, however, since where I work the military were off Monday and I was off on Tuesday I came in today to a lot of work and so if Tosca would like to post questions today that would be okay with me or if she can't maybe a volunteer would like to.  Great questions Slew and I hope everyone has a great day... Witty
