Keeping your computer safe is very important.  But equally important is keeping your friends and family safe.

Do you make sure you close your browser after making an online purchase?  The answer should be.....ALWAYS YES!

Do you copy credit card or your social security number to your clipboard? The answer should be....NEVER or NO!

Do you keep your email address private from hackers and spammers but advertise yours to people from all over the place through people you don't even know?  The answer should be....NO,  But I BET YOU DO....and you don't even KNOW YOU ARE DOING IT!

Here is a little tutorial on how to keep everyone you love safe as well:

You know those cute or sweet or funny emails we all get in our email boxes from time to time that we just cannot resist passing along to our friends and loved ones?  Uh huh, yeah, those.....

Well, there's no harm in wanting to pass them along, unless they are illegal, but let's just say they are not for the purpose of this tut.  And, there's nothing wrong in passing them along, but to whom are you passing them?  When you open one of those emails that have been passed along from person to persons and persons.....etc.  How many other email addresses do you see in the list before you get to the message part that you think is so nice you want to share it?  A lot...RIGHT?  Now, if you're a hacker that is a very valuable message to start isn't it!!!  Now hold on, wait, don't delete that cute thing you want to share, there's good news!  You can send it!!  Yes, you can!

In the following screenshot I will show you how and you won't give those private email addresses away!

In the box labeled #1 or 1 is where you will put the address of the person who mailed it to you, they always want it back right?

Number 2 the CC:  Stands for Carbon Copy.  It sends an exact copy of the email to whomevers name and email you enter there. Great for work related messages and the like, where you must disclose who all is getting a copy.

Number 3 is your saving grace!!!!  In this box, Put in all the email addresses of your friends and loved ones you want to have this message.  The BCC: stands for Blind Carbon Copy.  Put all the recipients addresses in this box just like you would put it in the To: box, the only address that anyone will see...is their own, oh yeah, and yours!!!

See, it's easy...I told you not to throw that cute message away..Go ahead a forward it but remember use the BCC before you forward and keep everyone safe!  They'll love you for it, in more ways than one!
