Well....we made it back all in one piece....no thanks to all the idiot drivers out there...lol!
A good time was had by all. I enjoyed dancing very much this time...I danced the dance of life...
Since we had an anniversary and I am having a birthday soon, hubby bought me this beautiful regalia neck-piece, earrings and barette. Hand painted...just wonderful...it depicts Crazy Horse done by an artist at Pine Ridge.
Can't get hubby to understand that Pawnee is not Lakota..lol! He thinks all plains NDNs are the same. Can't blame him though...most peeps do...lol!!
I told him now I have to change regalia colors AGAIN....
The pieces are done in dark blue and most of my adornments are a purplish color. Oh well...shawl will stay purple....worked too long and hard on that...lol!
