As I'm going through another bout of insomnia, I thought I'd share some natural remedies I've tried and tested:

CAMOMILE TEA - Infuse 2 tablespoons of camomile flowers in 1 pint of boiling water.  Stand covered for around 15 mins then strain and sweeten with honey.  Drink before bedtime.

HOPS TEA - Make a cup of hop tea as above before bedtime.

LAVENDER PILLOW - Stitch into a small cotton pillow dried lavender flowers.  Also add a few hops & camomile flowers and sprinkle with a few drops of lavender essential oil before sewing up.  Place under your pillow.

LIME FLOWER TEA - A cup before bedtime, sweetened with honey, will enduce sleep.  Is also used in Eastern medicine to lower blood pressure.  You can also make an infusion of the flowers for a soothing bath.  Infuse 100g (4 oz) of the flowers in 2 pints of boiling water.  Leave to steep for 10 minutes before straining and adding to your bath water.

Sweet dreams........!
