Coumarins. Clary sage distilled in Utah
contains 5-7% sclareol.
Action: Antidiabetic, helps reduce high
cholesterol, estrogen-like,
supports hormones, anti-infectious,
antifungal, antispasmodic, relaxing,
antibacterial, may help with epilepsy,
menopause and PMS.

Traditional Uses: The name "clary" sage came
from the nickname "clear
eyes," given in the Middle Ages, for its
ability to cure eye conditions.
Indications: Treats bronchitis, cholesterol,
hemorrhoids, hormonal
imbalance, insomnia, intestinal cramps,
menstrual cramps, PMS, premenopause,
and weak digestion.
Other Uses: This oil may be used for
menstrual problems, depression,
headaches, dandruff, insect bites, insomnia,
kidney disorders, dry skin,
throat reaction, ulcers, circulatory problems
and whooping cough.
Application: Diffuse, apply topically on
bottom of feet , ankles and
wrists. May be added to food or water as a
dietary supplement.
