Rose Fragrance Deoderizing Pucks:
Enjoy the Subtle Scent of Roses with your next load of laundry. Mix some baking soda with a few drops of rose essential oil and water until it forms a paste. Pour it into a muffin tin and allow it to dry. Place it in with laundry, in the bottom of a waste basket or any other area that you want to smell pretty. (For variety you can substitute other fragrances as well)

FRAGRANT ROSE JAR
Coarse Salt
Rose Petals
Cloves & mace
Rose Oil
Collect some rose petals in the early morning. Spread out some newspaper and place petals on top. Sprinkle with salt, leaving them for several days to dry out completely. Mix up a small amount of ground cloves and mace in a jar. Add 2 - 4 drops of rose oil and then fill with dried rose petals.

RECIPE FOR ROSE WATER
2 cups of rose petals
1/4 cup vodka
2 cups witchhazel
1 tsp glycerin
10 drops rose oil
Pour vodka & witch hazel over rose petals
Allow it to ferment for aproximately one week.
Remove the liquid, discarding rose petals.
Add glycerine & rose oil.

RECIPE FOR ROSEHIP POTPOURRI
1 cup of dried rose hips
2 cups of dried rosemary
2 drops of holly-berry oil
1 teaspoons of crushed orris root
1 cup of dried rose petals and buds
1 cup dried lavender and strawflower

RECIPE FOR ROSEPETAL COLOGNE
1 cup vodka
1 cup of dried mint
2 cups distilled water
2 cups of rose petals
Combine mixture and leave covered for several days. Strain off liquid. If the fragrance is not as strong as you would like it to be, add a few drops of rose oil. Substitute lavender in place of rose petals for a nice variety.

DRY ROSES IN YOUR MICROWAVE
Wrap rose petals in paper towel and microwave on medium heat for 2 minutes or until dry. (Sprinkle a few into your suitcases to keep them smelling pretty)

BREAD ROSES - Take a slice of bread & remove the crust. Put a tsp of white glue & a tsp of water in the center of the bread. Knead it until it feels like clay. Add a small amount of food coloring. Form into a ball - and then add details to look like a rose. Paint with an acrylic gloss & allow it to harden overnight

1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup of lemon verbena
2 cups of dried lavender
1 cup of cornflower petals
1 tablespoon of ground allspice
1/2 cup powdered orris root
3 drops of rose essence oil
3 cups of dried rose petals and buds
