Rose Fragrance Deoderizing Pucks:

Enjoy the Subtle Scent of Roses with your next load of laundry. Mix some baking soda with a few drops of rose essential oil and water until it forms a paste. Pour it into a muffin tin and allow it to dry. Place it in with laundry, in the bottom of a waste basket or any other area that you want to smell pretty. (For variety you can substitute other fragrances as well)

RECIPE FOR ROSEHIP POTPOURRI

1 cup of dried rose hips
2 cups of dried rosemary
2 drops of holly-berry oil
1 teaspoons of crushed orris root
1 cup of dried rose petals and buds
1 cup dried lavender and strawflower

RECIPE FOR ROSEPETAL COLOGNE

1 cup vodka
1 cup of dried mint
2 cups distilled water
2 cups of rose petals
Combine mixture and leave covered for several days. Strain off liquid. If the fragrance is not as strong as you would like it to be, add a few drops of rose oil. Substitute lavender in place of rose petals for a nice variety.

DRY ROSES IN YOUR MICROWAVE

Wrap rose petals in paper towel and microwave on medium heat for 2 minutes or until dry. (Sprinkle a few into your suitcases to keep them smelling pretty)

BREAD ROSES - Take a slice of bread & remove the crust. Put a tsp of white glue & a tsp of water in the center of the bread. Knead it until it feels like clay. Add a small amount of food coloring. Form into a ball - and then add details to look like a rose. Paint with an acrylic gloss & allow it to harden overnight
