In a thread about Ariel's Reply Box, you mention in the last post about "Go Back" or "System Restore". Since I've taught myself everything I know about the computer, I don't know how to access those functions. I have Windows 98. Can you offer any suggestions? sb/jackie |

Don't know if this will work for Windows 98 but you should have something similar in your '98 programs. Open your browser and type in GoBack or System restore and see what comes up. Do not chose one that you must buy. There are free programs that are built into your computer. click here... www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/gethelp/systemrestore.asp |

Nowonder, I'm too tired to mess with this tonight, but if I don't get time and inclination to try it before work tomorrow, then I will try it on Sunday some time. Thanks very much for the information. Jackie P.S. My mind has kind of been on the hurricane in Fl. My Son lives in the Orlando area. Windows 98 does not have system restore, but Windows XP does. Go to Control Panel, System Maintenance, then System Restore. A restore point is created when you install a new program or some of the virus protection programs make system restore points. It shows a calendar with restore points that you can put your computer back to.
