Hi
I am 59 years old (soon to be 60...) and have been married for 35 years.
I had my children in my late 30s, DS is now 23 and DD is 21. They are both at University - both continuing for a 4th year to do Masters. Thus, I will be working a while longer!! I am a Head of Department in a Further Education College - my job is very challenging but I do enjoy it most of the time....
I have already lost 45 lbs and just need to lose 6lbs to get me to a BMI of 25 and my goal weight - this is the top of the weight range for my height. These last 6lbs are being SO stubborn. I have varied my diet and drink 2 litres water per day. I have problems with my feet and hips but have upped my exercsie. I go to the gym 3 times a week and swim and go on the bike (with backrest)and have upped my daily steps by doing lots of short walks. I think my body is happy at this weight....
I started this journey on 26th April 2007 and on that day I gave up sugar. It will be nearly a year since I had a biscuit, chocolate, cake etc. I am eating healthily and feel I can do this for the rest of my life. I really do not want to put this weight back on. I have yo-yoed about for the past 15 years......
So, Joan and Carole
I apologise in advance if I continue with lots of STS but I know you understand why.
And I want to take this opporunity for thanking you for being part of my weight loss journey.
Good Luck to everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ann xx
