SLIMMER'S SUPPORT EXPRESS

A sad-looking woman goes into a bar and the barmaid asks why she's so glum. The woman explains she had a row with her husband and he vowed not to speak to her for a month.

"So?" the barmaid asks.

"Well," the woman replies, "this is the last night of the month.

One of our group came up to me while waiting in the queue at the counter (I sit opposite) and asked me if I had another joke for her to tell her sister. I told her the one about the boy and the condoms in the chemist. She loves me to tell her a joke that's easy to remember but when she asked out of the blue I couldn't think of one and Brian said what about that one and she loved it. She must have been missing when I told it before.

I'm very worried about B at the moment as his cough is very bad and attacks leave him exhausted and looking really ill, I've asked him to go back to the docs but he said it's only a couple of weeks since he was there so he won't. I'm not sure what we are doing today, I always wait to see what Brian wants to do as he knows what he feels capable of. I hope you have a good day. I wonder how many of you will get the snow? I don't think we will but it doesn't bother me. The tag I've put on, I got a senior moment and looking at tag by Joan I was thinking it was the copyright of someone called Jeanne and I added the 'ne' so now it reads Joanne. Silly me! I've put a slogan up for you to guess.

Good morning Joan and all.

I couldn't get into the group again yesterday, I know a friend of mine couldn't post in hers, I suppose MSN don't care now, oh wait they've always been like it!

I wanted to be up early and I didn't wake until nearly half past eight! I mustn't stop here long as I have lots of tidying, hoovering etc, before my nurse arrives, and I never know what time to expect her!

It's dry here in Wales, sunny too, must throw some washing in the machine before it changes it's mind.

Have a good day all, hope Brian's cough clears up soon Joan, and love the siggy. I'll be back later when the nurse has gone to catch up with how everyone is after their medical appointments yesterday. Love the joke too! lol

good morning to every one well the sun is here at moment.

Another restless night I seemed to be awake every hour ,Rod was going to a farm sale in Harrigate with some friends so brought me a cupper up about 6 and still I was tossing and turning wish tomorrow was over.

Any way going to my x stitch class this morning and meeting Fiona in her lunch hour.

Then I will go into town and browse around have run out of xmas cards I was sure I had some over from last year but can not find them.

Joan tell Brian he has to go back to doctors and should have gone before how ever short the time in between

Tell him if he do's not go I will come down and start chatting away till he is glad to

Well must finish breakfast have got some washing in have decided to do little and often now see you in arcade Carole

Good Evening to anyone who is out there. I've been doing my voluntary work at the Rowans today and didn't get home till after 4pm. I'd cooked a lamb casserole yesterday so only had to prepare the vegetables and it was delicious. I've just had a shower and changed into my PJ's so I'm off to the arcade for a little while now.

I am sending you a hug Carole and will be thinking of you tomorrow. I agree with the rest of the girls Joan, you must pursuade Brian to go to the doctors and have his cough checked out. Keep us smiling Joan by keeping the jokes coming. I hope you are keeping well Phil and we may meet u in the arcade, who knows.
