Bit late today, sorry! DH went to the dentist this morning while I was at the gym to have his back crown fitted and then we went straight into Birmingham as he wanted some trousers. I had offered to get him some but he said no, he didn't want me to buy him any more clothes, he wanted to choose them by himself and has been looking for a couple of weeks. Ha ha, that was a good laugh becuase I knew he would be useless without me! We ended up with a couple of nice pairs from BhS.
Then we went over to the German market in Centenary Square. All the usual stalls but the atmosphere was lovely and bright. All I bought was some stollen to take to DS's at the weekend.
All the Xmas decorations are up now but the ones in Bullring were awful!! Imagine old fashioned candelabras in gaudy red, pink, blue etc plastic and they were everywere. Whoever designed them needs a style transplant - lol!
I've had a couple of really good days foodwise and am trying hard to keep it up. I really must try to get it moving downwards again.
I agree that Brian should go back and see the doctor too Joan. A persistent cough should never be ignored so do whatever you can to get him there, although I know it's not easy to persuade them sometimes. No dinners until he's been should do it - lol!
Snow? Has it been mentioned? I haven't see the forecast for a day or two.
I can't see that anyone has completed the saying so I will, with apoligies if it's already been answered - A little of what you fancy........does you good. Right now I fancy my dinner so I think I'll go and make a start on it. Chicken Curry tonight, DH's favourite, and not too hard on the new crown!
Best of luck tomorrow Carole, I will have all my fingers and toes crossed for you
.
Linda
