Well, sorry I'm so late today but I've been on the go since the minute I got up this morning and not had a minute to get to the PC.  That and the fact that DH has been on it most of the day too!  I had to go to Tesco and Sainsbury this morning which was a bit of a nuisance then I had to wait in the queue for fuel at Tesco so that took me most of the morning.  We are going down to DS's tomorrow so needed to fill up and my 5p off voucher expires tomorrow.

 

I'd had the fruit for the Xmas cake soaking all night and had got all the rest of the ingredients prepared so I finished that and it's just come out of the oven and smells gorgeous.  I used DD's latest recipe in the GF mag so it had better taste good too - lol! 

 

I'd told DS that we would see to ourselves for dinner tomorrow night as they are going out early and it would save them some time so I have made a chilli (I know theDGS's like that too) and also made some chocolate chip muffins to take for them.  The love some home made cake when I see them.  I won't be around over the weekend so have a good one everybody.

 

I loved your explanation of the missionary position Joan, I'll have to use that one when I'm kept awake by DH's snoring.
