Good morning Joan and all,

It's a dry but cold morning here. I've not long got in from my early morning taxi journey and it felt a lot colder than the 4° the thermometer was showing!

Sorry you're having problems Joan, I was too this morning, Jonathan reckons with me it's because I need more RAM on this computer with it running Vista, I shall have to look into getting some more, another job for Sil! Sorry too that you had a bad night, I didn't want to get up when Tony called me, but soon woke after my first cup of tea.

I still have my sore throat, I've been recommended tee tree gargle, I'll look for some in town later. I also need to pop to the Post Office to post Vikki's birthday card and present, I can't believe she's 27 tomorrow, where do the years go!!! I think I might start writing my Christmas cards later on today, well all the ones I send abroad anyway.

Morning all

 

I had trouble with MSN yesterday too.  Maybe everyone in the world is doing their shopping by internet and clogging the web - lol!   I have found that trying to use MSN between mid-day and 5:00 p.m. is just impossible. 

 

I don't have any problem with anything unwanted popping up in Explorer, although I know DS would be happier if we used Firefox, but DH won't change.  Explorer has been much better since we changed to Vista as it does have it's own built in 'defender' as well as using our own virus & spam checker.

 

No gym again today as my knee is still sore.  I got a support for it last week which has helped a lot but I'm not risking it for a few days yet.  I'll just do some extra walking instead.  It's  beautiful, but very cold, morning here so I should probably go out early and make the most of it.  As you say Phil, the Xmas cards will have to be started soon so I'd better get some.  I know I had quite a few left over from last year so DH will have to go in the loft this weekend and get all the boxes down. 

 

I'm going to the Arcade now, while I can!
