One of the surest ways of slowing down your weight loss is to indulge in unplanned snacks. More often than not, it is seeing food that makes you want to eat it. How many of us have seen a packet of biscuits in a cupboard and thought "just a couple won’t harm!" But sadly they will. The obvious answer is to keep food out of sight as much as possible!

Good Idea

Don’t put food into office drawers you open frequently.

Try to avoid routes that mean you have to walk past sweet shops and bakeries.

Don’t leave boxes of chocolates or tins of biscuits in the room where you watch TV ?get someone to hide them away for you and not tell you where they are. And don’t go looking, lol.

In the kitchen, put the bread in the bread bin and everything else in the cupboards, fridge or freezer.

Only look at recipe books when you are going to cook something.

Never watch cookery programmes on an empty stomach

If you must have sweets in the car, make sure they are sugar-free and stored in the glove compartment.

Onward and downward together, ladies,

Happy slimming,

Joan
