Keep your hands busy?/STRONG>

Keeping your hands busy is a great way of keeping them out of the biscuit tin!

Here are some things you could do:

Nourish your hands by regularly smoothing in hand cream

Put those photos into an album

Stroke your pet

Do a jigsaw puzzle (in Links, we’ve got a link to Jigzone to do them on line if you prefer)

Give yourself a full manicure or just paint your nails.

How about writing or typing a letter?

Try origami or flower arranging

How many drawers could you sort out?

Play games on our site or online (try our Links there are some there)

And, how about trying some knitting, crocheting, macramé, patchwork, embroidery or other craft? You could keep a "slimming project" handy that you could pick up to fill a moment when your hands might go astray (see our Busy Fingers for more ideas).

There’s a saying that the devil find things for idle hand to do, well he also finds things for those hands to pick up and eat! Beware!

Onward and downward together,

hugs

Joan
