Picture yourself slim

No matter how many times you have fallen off the wagon, you CAN succeed at weight loss, but you need to keep giving yourself positive reminders of where you are going.

Whenever you have a spare moment, shut up your eyes and visualise yourself as a slim person, wearing the clothes you would love to wear, and doing the things you would love to do.

How will you walk, talk and act?

The more detail you can put in, and the more often you visualise yourself a slim person, the more likely you are to achieve it.

Good idea

Some people find it motivating to hang up an item of clothing they would like to get back into somewhere visible.

Or every week, you might like to try on a skirt or a pair of trousers that have become too small and see if you can pull up the zip any further.

What about finding a photo of yourself of when you were slimmer and putting it on the fridge door with a magnet?

If you've always had a weight problem you could cut ot a picture of someone you'd like to have the figure of, cut the head off and stick yours on, it will give you an idea of how you'd look slim.

Self-image is very important so think well of yourself and keep praising yourself for what you have achieved so far.

hugs,
