12 oz extra lean minced beef (ground beef)
1 tablespoon mild chilli powder
1 teastoon ground coriander
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
6oz carrots, finely diced
3.5 oz button mushrooms, quartered
3.5 fl oz red wine
400g can of chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato puree
0.5 pint beef stock
410g can of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley to garnish (optional)
If you like your chilli fiery, then add a couple of chopped red or green chillies.
