I won't be missing him.  Soooo glad it wasn't Sugar.  They really left us wondering this week.  BTW  the previews of a missing GC were play up so much and it was nothing.  There he was at the IC, and nothing was said.

I never cared for GC, but I can understand the emotional pounding this game can do to some people...and (to me) it doesn't mean they were never worthy to be on the show.
If someone told me this was a photo of GC, I wouldn't believe it right away.  What a difference 2 weeks makes.

Sorry but he was a whiner from day one and a bit of a bully. He was always looking for a fight. He wouldn't even try at challenges and then complain about losing. I am not sorry to see him go. I got worried when they started targeting Sugar because of the idol.

Becca, I have to disagree with you about being worthy of the show...and maybe worthy isn't the right word.  What do people think it's going to be like in a jungle, little food, weather elements against you, bugs, missing your family, personality conflicts, sleeping on very little and very little to keep you warm...yeah, it's going to be hard but it baffles me when they sit there and say,  "I didn't think it was going to be this hard."  How could they NOT think it was going to be hard. Everything I've ever seen on Survivor is the exact reason why I would never try out.  It would be harder than I want to endure.  To me, it's an ego thing that they just want their face on TV.  Look at Sugar last night at TC.  She's been sent to exile island three times, although the last two have been a vacation ,you're still isolated and then her crying because she misses her family too.  It's just as hard for her but she's not giving up.

GC was my hometown boy and I was rooting for him about 15 minutes until he showed his personality in the very first show.

ITA with everything you say Jonesy. Every season we hear someone say they didn't know it was going to be this hard.

Being Canadian, I know I will never get on the show. Regardless, I'd never even try out because I KNOW it's hard and I know I wouldn't last. I just know that. I like my creature comforts too much, lol.

Why people like GC irk me so much is because of the amount of people (many of them members here) that would love the opportunity to be on the show and aren't even given the chance to try out.

It should almost be a prerequisite that if you want to quit you should be made to pay some sort of penalty. Maybe that way, the weaker ones will back out before that show even starts!

JMO, Karyn
