After reading Jeff's blog my guess is that they will draw for two new teams and continue with tribal immunities instead of individual immunities.  As this would be the time for the "normal merge" it would be something they've never done before.

With that being said...I forgot to add that it would make last nights decisions bad ones as they would still need the strength for the new tribes.  I think the votes were
more about idividual immunities that normally start at the merge.  You would want to weed out the stronger ones..This is all my speculation of course.

That makes sense. It will be interesting to see if your right.

They can also add, living all together but still competing as two tribes.  Now that would be interesting.  To have one tribe win and then come back and have to
live with the other tribe.

Well, Becca's picture on another thread says the survivors think there's a merge...Maybe I'm on the right track.

Well that would be interesting but it has  been done before in Thailand. That was about the only thing of interest that entire season.Of course it was only for one episode so maybe they are doing it to the end but it is only exciting when they first do it to unsuspecting Survivors. I am really curious now as to what it is. I hope it isn't more of their hype and it is really nothing much of anything. They have done that before, hyped something and it turns out to be nothing much

I don't recall there not being a merge in Thailand...was there no merge and teams stayed the same though...my theory is they draw for 2 completely new teams and play as teams.  Is this what happened there.

No it didn't last the rest of the show but only one episode. Remember they merged them gave them the feast and they all thought they merged but they really didn't and poor Shii Ann was bitten in the butt as a result.  They then merged after that. Your way would be something different but not a shocker though. Would definitely be interesting
