Ace must have known he was cooked when Sugar refused to give him the Idol.So claims that he was blindsided are a tad melodramatic. I found JP's blog to be just that--melodramatic clap trap.
I think she made the right choice for the sake of her own survival in the game.
As far as Ace protecting Sugar--let's put it more realistically and say Ace was protecting the Idol for his own selfish reasons. If Crystal had the idol he would have has his nose so far up her butt he would have seen her appendix. Ace was all about Ace and no one else. He made for interesting TV and I would rather watch his egotistical antics than the always angry Olympic dud Crystal.
Crystal has to go soon or I will go Rambo on my TV screen.
