Do Great Books Make Great Movies?  (copied from the site)

When Hollywood studios make a movie that's based on a book, many filmgoers are faced with a nagging question: Is it OK to see the movie if you haven't read the book? Well, we're here to tell you that it's nothing to be ashamed of.

But reading the book--before or after you see the movie--will add countless details that may not have been included in the film version. Plus, you might discover some interesting choices in the adaptation.

See how well you know the book, the movie--or both.......here

I got 7 out of 10.   I missed 4, 9, and 10.   I used to know #10!  argh!

There was one I was almost automatic on until I read it again more carefully.

Not so hot.
You could use some lessons in film and fiction. Get thee to a library. Or a movie theater. Or both. You got 3/10 correct.

Well, that sucked!

    I'm laughing with you, Charlie!!!

Forget the lessons in film and fiction.   Just take a course in Lucky Guesses 101.
It worked for me!   ;-)       Or just see some movies with John.  lol

Well, "Henry and June" did a great disservice to Henry Miller and Anais Nin and Miller's "Tropics" books.  Fred Ward as Miller was way off.  That casting was almost an insult.

LOL @ Charlie.  I got nice work, but wouldn't that be a D if I were in school?

I always wondered about Henry & June - thanks for the input, Freethought!  I had thought that Fred Ward sounded like a bad casting choice.
