Oh, I read your review the other day, and I was so jealous that you got to see it already!  You did a great job writing that, by the way, and I was glad to hear you liked it because Joaquin Phoenix is my hero.  I'll be standing in line to see this one the day it comes out!

I am glad there will be a movie to honor the courage of firefighters. My brother has been a firefighter for 12 years. He considers the men and women he works with "brothers/sisters". They are always there for each other.
 
Our city recently laid off 6 firemen, leaving other half of our city uncovered by fire personnel. I wish people realized how important firefighters (and police officers) are.
 
I remember crying at the end of Backdraft ....... I wonder if the end of this will do the same. Can't wait to see it - Thanks for the write up.
