Has anyone else seen this yet. I saw it last night. Even though its 3 hours long I thought it was very good.  Just wondering how true it is.

The Aviator is the only one nominated in the Best Picture category that I haven't seen yet.   Maybe this weekend.   Thanks for the warning about it being 3 hrs. long...sigh.

I saw Million Dollar Baby yesterday...hmm.   Although Swank's, Freeman's, and Eastwood's performances are very good, I expected to be wowed by the film a lot more than I was...too cliched at times, etc.   I think Ray, Finding Neverland, and Sideways are better films than this one.

Becca...I know 3 hours sounds long but it went fast IMO.

You're right, good film and it didn't drag.   I'm not a DiCaprio fan, but I got over that quickly into the movie.   Cate Blanchett's role as Hepburn really wowed me.  That was a risky role, imo.   Glad she got an Oscar nom for it.

I did a little research about the "Spruce Goose" and found out that it's at an aviation museum just 100 miles from me.  I had no idea!   It was moved there around 12 yrs ago.   I definitely plan to see it!!!

I too thought it was a great movie. Long, but worth it!

I agree Cate Blanchett did a fantastic job being Katherine. I was convinced !!!

My guy is all into airplanes so he was blabbing about the "spruce goose" before we even saw the movie. It made him feel good to have known a bit of history.
