Hi,   I  remember listening to "Fire and Rain" and "Country Road" in the early 70s in college.   He has lots of good songs I think.

I was in HS in the early 70's and remember listening to his songs for the first time.   Played that Sweet Baby James LP over and over again.
I followed him for many years until that cd came out...the one with the song Copperline  in it. That was the last cd of his that I bought.   I will always enjoy listening to his music.
Fire and Rain holds very special meaning to me.

Yes Imagine, he is great and continues long after other singers have lost their appeal.  Now he appeals to ppl of today even though he started back in the 60s and 70s.  Amazing!!!!!!!!

He was a voice for peace and good-being way back then.  Rockabye Sweet Baby James... Interesting how he was hooked up with Carly Simon.  Then there was the severe heroin addiction... tough to be an artist in a world like this one is these days.  Lots of musicians became heroin addicts then (maybe now too).
