I was so glad that Kynt & Vyxen weren't eliminated last night. They're one of my favorite teams. But then, I like TK & Rachel too. Looks like Christina's dad loses it again next week. |

And yet I could have sworn Phil said at the beginning of the show that there would be NO non-elimination rounds this time. Did anyone else hear that? |

I'm glad they're not gone, I like Kynt and Vyxen. I read on the cbs site that they have to do a speed bump that noone else has to do. I hope they work together this time and make it thru it so they don't get eliminated. :) |

Lemn ... I heard that there will be two non-elimination rounds this time. Just was wondering when they were going to happen. Too bad that the brother/sister team that were doing so well didn't happen to catch one of the non-elimination rounds. As for the speedbump for Kynt/Vyxen: hope it's not too bad for them. At least they got to keep their belongings (i.e., clothes, make-up) and money. I remember in past races when the racers had to give up everything except their passports. Other teams would sometimes share clothing and money. But, other times, they were begging at the airport for money for tickets, food, taxis, etc. I wondered what sort of impression that was making on other travelers who didn't understand the dynamics of the game. |

Just a few thoughts. Isn't the Final Two usually a non-elimination round? Or is that just an extra? I like everybody that's left now except Christina's father, whom I've frankly hated from the beginning. It's a miracle to me that she's managed to live to adulthood without strangling him! I can only imagine what his wife has to put up with! And, I might add, that's a male point of view! DK and Rachel are my favorites, and have been all along, but I'd like to see Kynt and Vixen give them a run for their money. Also like the grandfateher and grandson and the bickering couple that seems to be obligatory in this game. Like Courtney on Survivor, they are a hoot to watch! What I'd really like to see are continuous back-to-back episodes of Amazing Race, Survivor and Big Brother, instead of just a handful of shows a year. |

Just adding some things up: There are typically 13 legs in an AR show. There are usually 8 elimination legs, the 4 non-elimination one in an 11 team race. We are current at the 8th leg of this one. 6 teams have been eliminated. 2 more eliminations and 1 non-elimination are planned. The scenarios for the remaining 3 are: 1. The race is shortened to 11 legs. (I hate this one)! 2. Phil will be at the pit stop at a couple of these legs to hand out the next clue for the first team to arrive (I hope it's this one)! |

LOL, Bill! I was SO hoping to hear Phil say "you're still racing. Here's the next clue." I'm still a DK and Rachel fan, but I REALLY wanted to see Kynt and Vixyn in the Final Two. Oh, for what might have been! Too bad this isn't live TV. We might get to see Christina push Daddy off a cliff! Just kidding. (I think.) |
