Yes I watched it.

pretty good - turned out Capt Texas Ranger wasn't really dead and Allison only saw part of his dream.(his father came to her and told her to finish the dream)

In last seasons finale the Texas Detective explains that death is knowledge and understanding. So he attempted to off himself and bring info about the killer to Allison.

 

The Ranger lingered in a coma for 4 months waiting for Allison to finish the dream, she went to his room and slept in a chair. As soon as the dream ended he woke from his coma.

 

Do you really want to know what happened ?

Ok here goes>>   The killers mother worked at a sperm bank. She was pregant and to make ends meet the father was a repeat donor, so he fathered several children. He ran out on his pregant girlfriend who in turn raised the child to HATE everything the father had produced. (Some biblical passage told him to kill all the children bore from his sperm). There was one person left, a 18 year old girl. The police used her as bait - the Texas ranger recognized the killer by his shoes (he was a cop with odd shoes) and shot him dead.

 

Allison's husband probably won't leave her.

Thank you so much Cutter! I remember the Rangers father visiting and I vaguely remember seeing the Ranger awake but I wasn't sure if it was another vision because I had nodded off.  Thanks for the recap.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I thought the premiere was tonight and I've been looking forward to it for days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else think that Allison is a bitch.  I like the show but sometimes I think her husband ought to man up and tell her like it is. Marriage isn't always about shutting up for the sake of your spouse's feelings!    Like his shrink told me she is extremely or whatever word she used inconsiderate!
