That is a long, long time.  2 seasons could be cancelled.  I feel bad for all the people who depend on hockey to make a living.  I don't feel sorry for the players at all, they are way overpaid.  As for the owners, I agree with them that something has to be changed, hockey teams have lost a billion dollars in the last 10 years under the current agreement.  The owners are actually going to lose less money by not actually having a season, now you know there has to be something wrong with the system in place right now.
