Yeah, baby!!!!!! Now, my lucky number has been 27 since I was a kid, in honor of Carlton Fisk, so it's only fitting that they win on the 27th!! What a happy day this is!! I'm so tempted to drive into Boston and be part of the circus around Fenway right now!! Don't really need to though - the tv is all Red Sox. Oh, happy day!!! |

They played tremendously and deserve the World Series title--I am still in shock over how my redbirds played...we had an awesome season though. Congrats to all Sox fans. |

I'm hoping to get to the parade on Saturday in Boston. It'll be big!! And Linda Jean, good question - I don't know! My father will probably know but he isn't home right now. I'm still in a state of bliss!!! |

Does anyone else remember seeing Sean on The Early Show durring SAS. He made some comment about Rob better win SAS because he would be the only winner Boston would ever see cause they will never win the World Series. Rob's gonna make him eat those words now. Isn't Sean from NY? Also who called the Red Sox idiots? I saw more than one sign that said We  our idiots |

The Red Sox players call themselves the idiots. Linda Jean: The Red Sox were once known as the Boston Americans - A strong fan base that called themselves the Royal Rooters started Red Sox nation. It didn't say how, but I got this info on a red sox fan site. |
