Hi all.

A lot of are seasoned pros and some are recent graduates. I enrolled in comsetology school starting  the end of Sept. I'm doing this as a change of pace. I've always thought about doing it, but in my 20s I was to busy partying. Now that that is out of the way, I was wondering in general what everyone thought of their schools.

Congradulation  r in order.. well since i went to beauty school in 1963 ..  i am sure things have change ..but i would think any school would be a good start for basic learning .. after you graduate .. take as many classes as u can and  hands on work shops ..work as an-assitant in a high end salon.. and remmeber  always be professional  .. Good Luck  ...DRew

Congratulations! I agree, any school is good for learning the basics. I learned the hard way, that when I got out of school, to throw out everything you learned, because it's done differently in salons. You need to know everything you're taught in school to get your license, just keep an open mind when you get it. I agree with everything Drew said to do after you graduate. This is really how to become the best.

Thanks to both of you.

When I went for my waxing license. I learned everything to take the board then once I received my license and talking to other waxers, I discovered that whatever I learned in school doesn't jive with the real world. I guess the states aren't in the real world. LOL.
