We get a 10% commission in our shop which is alright as long as your around to right it down they track it though the amounts going through the till as well.  But you only get credit for it as long as you recorded it and you need to sell over $200 worth of product in the month before it applies.  As for the assistants and other staff they do not get commission that helps to pay their wage.  But honestly the motivation to sell the product especially to your regulars/chemical clients is with the right products it helps to maintain their hair which makes your job easier as well.
