What kind of look are you wanting? Any specific colors that you are working with? What is the natural color of the model's hair and how long is it? |

I tried this technique on my neice once-she was a natural level 7, and I foiled panels of color, level 6 burgandy red, about 4 foils in the front, and 4 on the middle to back of her head, really close together, creating chunks, or "blocks" of color, and at the same time, I aplied black to the rest of it, and let it process. The foils protected the black from bleeding on to the red. You could do something similar with a natural level 3 or 4 if you prelighten the panels first, and then apply your demi color. Which ever colors you decide, the demi will not affect the color that was not in the foils if it is lighter than the other over all color. Which ever colors you decide is up to you, maybe all around burgandy with blond streaks, maybe 3 streaks, maybe 2, maybe only 1 on the hairline. Just a few ideas. |

Good Morning! Any luck finding a HOT technique? I posted a few different color ideas in the Color Formulas index. If those don't suit you, I'll send some more. |

I just noticed the color formulas you posted last night Guylayne, they're great! I might even try them myself. Thanks for taking the time to do that! |
