Has anyone used Uncolor? It supposed to remove temporary hair color. I haven't had good experiences with it. I tried this on a coworker who wanted to take out the red block in the back of her hair (temporary), and it didn't budge. Not even the Malibu 2000 moved it, and it usually does. I didn't want to go the lightner route, because she is always doing something crazy to her hair, and I was afraid of damage. We also don't have permanent color remover. Is the reason why Uncolor didn't take out the red at all because she had so much done to it already?

Hi Star!
Well, I haven't heard of "Uncolor". If she is a color junkie like the rest of us and has an underlying permanent color, the temporary red color would basically attach itself so hard that it will take a permanent color remover to do the job. Does that make sense to you? Matrix has an awesome color remover that I have used a few times. Let me know how you make out!

Yes, that makes perfect sense! That's what I was thinking too, but worth a try. What we did today, was just added more chunks of highlights through the back of her hair, she had already did the front at home, over a demi color I told her to use. It broke up the red, and as she said, it looked like "I meant to do that" lol. She is only 20, so anything different looks good. Thanks!
