I was browsing around and someone named Indianna mentioned handpainting Colorgraphics over socolor formula...are you talking about while the socolor is on the hair developing or after you have washed off and dried the coloured hair?

I have hilited with colorgraphics after completing a colour and drying the hair. If there is a cool way to hilite "during" the colour process I would love to hear it.

Thanks

Are you refering to this message? It was curlup&dye. I think she meant she was highlighting over previously colored hair.

It was this post that I was talking about.....

Hi I love socolor I have been lucky to work with everyone of the lines so far. I love matrix because you can hand paint color graffics right on top of the socolor formula to add a very interesting effect. I found the other color did not have the same result.

Thanks. Donna

I guess i will try painting the graphics over the colour when my daughter comes home next weekend. You experiment on your family because they love you no matter what.

Good morning yes I mix up a little bit of Graffics and take a paint brush , and paint the Gr. right on top of my color , sometimes for a different effect I do regrowth frist paint some lines in pull the color through and paint different lines on top of the color. when washed off it adds a whole new demention to the color trick is not to do too many. effect is very different. sometime I use a different pigment for each job. Sometimes with a cap pull I will do green base and then put lines of pigment over top using both cool and warm very fast and looks like a full head of foils. Graffics is reusable by add a little bit more protinator you can always keep some mixed up in a little container as it will go back to powder form. I came up with this hand painting too keep clients out of the drugstores and I charge a lot for it and it is so fast. This will only work with these products. When I teach we take the cuttings off the floor and play with left over color to see how many effects we can create. Have fun let me know what you find out for yourself/.................Wendy
