When you do a retouch on weaved hi-lites how do you make sure you dont go back over a allready beached area?
I understand you hit the new growth at the roots, but sometimes there will be a strand mixed in thats colored. do I try to pick those out? or do I only bleach the root area, will that look ok?
Most times the colored strand was blone before it was colored, due to haveing color and re-touch of hi-lites before. Do you understand what I am asking? sorry if its confuseing.

I find on the bleach parts only retouch the regrowth only or you will get breakage. on the color piece you can comb thought out the whole packet depending on  what you are using ,if it not too ash a color youdon't what to make blue hair. if you have to comb bleach thou an end make sure that one the part that is not regrowth it is a very low proxiod like 10  vol.

What I do also, is I turn the brush over on an angle to paint the bleach on the dark spots where needed. If I'm worried about overlapping, I just put another foil right on top of the foil that I retouched and then fold it, so I don't fold the bleach on top of where I don't want it. For the most part, when it's done, it all looks very blended.
