I have a client that is a level 2-3 and wants to go to about a level 9-10. i have used vlights and usually have to tone it with a violet. the color is like a honey blonde. Any suggestions on a different way to do this or i will usually just have to lighten more than one aplication.
That sounds right to me. When you start out at as dark a level as that, it's natural that brassy undertones are going to come out, where toning is required. If you wanted to cut through the warm tones completely and go to a sheer blond, that's when you would have to do more than one application.
unfortunalty thats all you can do. I think that Vlights is probably the best because it will help get rid of the brass as its lifting. however if you find that it is really damaging you can try the maji mesh with the cream. Make sure you do conditioning treatment every time to preserve the integrity of the hair! you don't want to have to chop it in a few months!! at least the great thing about bleach is it will never fade :) lol!!
