Colorgraphics are hilighters. The cool colors, green, blue, violet will be your cooler beigier blondes. The red, orange, and yellow are for warmer, golden blondes. The mocha is more on the warm side. They dont really cancel out the opposite color, you just have to use the right color for the hilights you are trying to achieve. Also the promoters play a big part in how light you will become. |

Ive been using colorgraphics for years. I love them. My clients love them. They save so much time because they lighten and tone in one step. Donna |

Do you know if I can do a color retouch and while that is processing use the colorgraphics to hilite or do I have to wait until the retouch is done, rinsed & dried? |

I quite often put my foils of colorgraphics in the then touch up the roots between the foils. It works really well. Colorgraphics work quickly under heat but they also work with time. By the time i touch up the roots and let about 30 minutes pass my hilites are ready. No heat involved. Donna |

the key to neat foiling is to place the foils as close to the scalp and as uniformly as you can. If you have a neat pattern of foils you can work your way between them to put the root colour on without too much trouble. I start at the front and work my way back with the foils and then when i put the root colour on i start at the back and work my way to the front. Its worked well for me for over 2 years. Donna |

Hi, I've used graphics for a long time also. If you are a really precise measure one thing you might want to know is that if you mix it more like regular bleach then add in small amounts of pigment it lifts faster. Also if you mix according to Matrix's directions 2 scoop powder to 2 scoop promoter than 1 scoop of pigment the more pigment the slower it is to lift sometimes just a FYI. Another technique that might help you with your foiling that will keep it from slipping so much would be to start at the bottom of the sides then foil up that way you are not moving your foils as much. I do both the sides then the top then to the back. I found that helps alot . |
