I had a color class today, very good teacher, and I learned a new way to lighten up coated color. While the regular formula is on the roots, mix up another formula of 1 scoop of lightner, 1 ounce of developer (40 vol), and 1 ounce of clarifying shampoo. Apply it to the darker areas, it will lighten up in a few minutes, and then hold a towel underneath the hair with the lightner formula in sections, saturate it with water from a spray bottle, and then rub everything off with the towel. The lightning process is stopped, and you can continue processing the formula for the roots. This is a safe formula, it will not damage the hair.
