The only thing I don't like about Wella is that they take a little darker than Socolor does. The 500 series also tends to be on the brassy side, which you can cut that down by adding 25% of neutral, if not 100% grey. I've for the first time seen a coworker use Paul Mitchel color on herself, and I liked the results. The smell is not so strong, and it covers really well, with good tone. Have you ever tried it?
